Youth Education and
Ministry “Being a part of youth group helps me understand and adapt scripture to everyday life.” Katy, 16 “I like the Christ & Grace youth group because you feel like you’re actually doing something for the community that really helps.” Scott, 17 “I love EYC because it is like my second family.” Sarah, 17 Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) at Christ & Grace offers a vibrant program for young people in the 7th through 12th grades. Called the Pink Flamingos, they engage in fun activities as well as lively mission projects. Leaders strive to provide an environment that demonstrates God’s unconditional love and encourages the teens to share that love with family, friends, the community and the world. The teenagers look to 1st Thessalonians for inspiration: “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up just as you are doing.”
