   Music at Christ and Grace

The Music Program at Christ and Grace Episcopal Church is a dynamic and important multigenerational component of the life of our parish. The volunteer adult choir, the youth choir, and the handbell choir provide music at services and special events throughout the year. Grounded in the unique Anglican heritage of the Episcopal Church, the central mission of our music at Christ and Grace is to support the liturgy and enhance meaningful worship through hymns, canticles, psalms, and occasional renewal hymns.

The music at Christ and Grace reflects the variety and scope of our liturgies and parishioners while maintaining a close connection to our spiritual history and growth. From our regular Sunday morning liturgy to the quiet monthly Celtic Evensong, it is our hope that the music will find special meaning to all who worship with us.

Adult Choir

Membership in the adult choir is open to all interested singers from High School aged on up.  The choir sings for Sunday morning liturgies throughout the year (September-May) and rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall.  Members are expected to regularly attend rehearsals and Sunday services.  Ability to read music, although desirable, is not required.  Interested singers should contact Ryan Hebert at the church office for more information.

Children's Choir

Under the direction of Sarah Thacker, the Children's Choir is open to all Children in the 2nd through 6th grade.  The choir sings periodically on Sunday mornings (September to May) and rehearses on Sunday at 9:00am in the Choir Loft of the Parish Hall.

Canterbury Bell Choir

The Canterbury Bell Choir is a multigenerational group open to youth and adults.  The group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall and rings 4 or 5 times per year (September-May) in Sunday worship Services.  Tim Richardson directs the Bell Choir.
